

Moog Australia, a subsidiary of Moog Inc. has received a contract to join the Commonwealth of Australia’s (CoA), Department of Defence, Global Supply Chain (GSC) Program. Australia’s Defence GSC Program is a key export initiative that provides Australian companies with opportunities in the international supply chains of defence primes. This program plays a critical role in building the international capability of Australian suppliers through opening new market prospects and increasing participation in the global supply chain.
Meet The Team

Neil Fitzpatrick
As Director for Industry Development, Neil leads Moog’s Global Supply Chain program. Serving as the primary interface between the Commonwealth of Australia’s GSCP team and Moog sites globally, Neil oversees the development of Australian suppliers and facilitates the engagement between all stakeholders involved across the program. Neil leads the coordination of activity with the other GSC participants and is responsible for managing the relationships with Federal and State Governments.

Nick Stait
Nick leads and supports various technical programs for Moog Australia based out of Melbourne, Australia. Nick focuses on delivering motion control solutions by liaising with relevant stakeholders and ensuring engineering efforts align to relevant processes, policies and procedures. Nick has worked on a broad range of activities including internal design and development, Australian Defence sustainment and innovation as well as projects supporting our Asia Pacific partners.

Branden Michelkamp
Branden leads and supports US defense contracts as a Program Manager for Moog Salt Lake City (SLC) based out of Utah, USA. Branden focuses on working with the US based Moog sites to understand what opportunities appropriately fit the supply chain.

Ben Bartlett
Ben is part of the Moog Global Supply Chain Program Team where he leads and supports various technical programs with Moog supply partners in Australia. Ben focuses on delivering optimised supplier performance by liaising with relevant stakeholders and ensuring engineering efforts are aligned to relevant standards, processes, policies, and procedures.

Daniel Gangemi
Daniel is part of the Moog Global Supply Chain Program Team where he leads and supports various technical programs with Moog Supply chain partners in Australia. Daniel focuses on delivering optimised supplier performance by liais-ing with relevant stakeholders and ensuring engineering efforts align to relevant standards, processes, policies, and procedures. These activities are executed through coordination with Moog’s global sites in Australia, North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe where Moog’s hardware is designed and manufactured.

AUKUS
Under the GSC Program, Moog Inc. is committed to identify and maximize opportunities for the Australian industry across Moog’s global operations. The GSCP efforts are managed in our Moog Australia facility with supporting resources from our U.S. operations, a true AUKUS support mechanism. The GSCP is a pathway for Australian defence industry to bid on existing or future Moog contracts. The GSCP turbocharges Australian supply chain uplift. It has delivered AUD $1.7B of work to Australian industry since its debut in 2007. Via the GSCP, Moog will identify and qualify Australian SMEs to support AUKUS. This creates opportunities, jobs, and strengthens the ecosystem.
