Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Digital #08094
Duties/Responsibilities:
The selected individual's primary responsibility will be the design and development of multi-axis embedded brush and brushless DC motor controllers for use in military and aerospace applications. This includes proposal support, conceptual, schematic, PWB design, prototype and development testing as well as qualification testing support. Circuit design responsibilities include the use of basic analog and digital circuitry, DSPs/uCs (experience with the T.I. 28xx DSP family is desired), and FPGAs (VHDL and schematic capture). Basic switch-mode power supply design and inverter/motor drive design experience is a plus (MOSFET- and IGBT-based). The designer is typically responsible for hardware design only, however knowledge of C is a plus. Responsibilities also include the preparation of detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external use. The individual will also function as a technical contact for customers and vendors.
