The incumbent will be responsible for presales technical support, and may participate in project support, design reviews, and problem solving as appropriate. This is primarily a service oriented role that will require detailing the needs of our customers into technical specifications for our engineering and project teams, writing the technical sales proposals on behalf of our account managers, and acting as a direct customer interface to and for our technical and commercial teams.responsible for development, production release, and continuing engineering support associated with complex electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems in the automotive testing market. The application engineer in the test systems business has a key responsibility to fully understand the interrelations between mechanical, electrical, and software functions in our control solutions. This opening is directed towards electrical and mechanical engineering candidates.

Education/Experience:
A BSEE, BSME, or equivalent experience in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of test related experience or the design of test equipment in related testing disciplines. Seasoned knowledge of servo control systems, experience with test and vibration control systems, and a working knowledge of electric, pneumatic, hydraulic actuators is very beneficial.

Skills/Knowledge
This position will require a highly motivated and creative individual. The incumbent will ideally exhibit good planning and organization skills as well as good written and verbal communications skills. and possess the ability to trouble shoot and diagnose problems in complex hydraulic and electric servo test equipment system.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• The incumbent will have the responsibility for Project Engineering on aerospace and automotive or other test relevant markets

• The Project Engineer is responsible to manage, plan, organize, execute and problem solve assigned projects related to the delivery of test systems for aerospace structural static and fatigue testing

• His/her primary concern is for system or component performance, so he/she will initiate or carry out whatever analysis tasks are necessary to ensure specification performance compliance

• This position requires cradle to grave responsibility for project execution, hardware installation on and off site acceptance testing, customer training, and coordination of project activities and support staff to execute projects.

• The Project Engineer is concerned with the analysis, conceptual design, development, and in particular the performance of structural static and fatigue testing equipment.

• The Project Engineer will guide the evolution of the conceptual design, technical project planning and development testing.

Education/Experience:

• Required:

- A BSEE, BSME, or equivalent experience in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

- Master's Degree in Engineering or related area.
